Friendly welcome by manager. Pastries are buttery good, high quality filling, and very reasonable prices. Proximate to Old Town. Wonderful start to the day. Wide variety of sandwiches as well as desserts to make you swoon.

We tried to order at the counter because it wasn't clear whether there was table service (and the queue have us a false idea). The man serving was very animated explaining we had to sit down. We moved away, but I turned back and he was rolling his eyes and made a derogatory aside to a colleague. We decided to sit anyway (tired, hungry) and it a while to be served. He could have taken our order with a smile and then asked us to sit down... The lunch was OK.

The desert was good and very aromatic. But unfortunatly, the service was very bad. They charge us extra for eating there and the extra price was not mention anywere. From 7,5 euro salade, I paid an extra 3 euros only for eating there. When asking for explanation they were acting like we do not understand how it is working.

Very sad experience! We went in, the person working there was not welcoming and said thay everything is full and to get out. We came back a bit later, found a table and sat down. The service was not nice, and the prices that were shown were not the ones on the bill. When we asked why on the bill we had different prices than what was written down, they said that there is an additional fee, per product when eating there. However, the additonal fee was not consistent, as they said that it is 1 euro per product, but for 1 salad it was more than 1 euro (from 7.5 to 11 euros). For the dessert, there was already a price shown for eating in, but on the bill, again a different price. The staff was not understanding with regards to our confusion. Big dissapointment!

Delicious bread, pastries and cakes. Not only beautiful to look at, but also very tasty. Selection of breakfast options, „dish of the day“, sandwiches and salads to take away or eat in-house. Recommended by the Michelin guide and me.
